- ROBLOX Helper - Riptide

Okay, so in the new contest game, SFOTH: Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, there is a gear called Riptide, many can't figure out how to get it, so I'm here to help!

To get Riptide, you need to get each weapon in the game:

Trident
Ice Breaker
Ice Axe
Beach Battle Sword

Once you have each of them in your inventory, you will get Riptide!

Very challenging but worth it. Riptide works as a regular LinkedSword. 

Once you get the Items a GUI will appear on your screen saying you got the sword.



To get one of the other badges, simply get 10 KOs with only that one weapon.

- ROBLOX Helper - Golden Fleece

Okay, so in the new contest game, SFOTH: Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, there is a gear called the Golden Fleece, many can't figure out how to get it, so I'm here to help!

To get the Fleece, you need to get each weapon in the game:

Trident
Ice Breaker
Ice Axe
Beach Battle Sword

Once you have each of them in your inventory, you will get the Fleece In-Game, but it's not done there!

To get the fleece in your inventory, you need to get 10 KOs while flying with the Fleece, if you die, you will lose the Fleece, you will need to regain all weapons again, and all 10 KOs.

Very challenging but worth it, as the Fleece works like the R-Orb or Artemis Bow, allowing the player to fly around, but you can't hold a weapon when using it sadly.

Once you get the 10 KOs a GUI will appear on your screen saying you got the Demigod Badge, meaning you now have the fleece.



To get one of the other badges, simply get 10 KOs with only that one weapon.

LMaD - Let's Make a Deal

LMaD is the forum where players go to trade and sell items. But it can be a hard place to get used to, and to fit in, so I am going to try my best to tell you how you can fit in!

First, know the acronyms of each hat, which you can find here.

1. Know the people

Knowing the people you're trading with can help you get better items, not only for them trusting you more, but you know how they work. What do I mean by how they work? Well, different people trade differently, some base trades off the item's price, others on the RAP of the item.

RAP = Recent Average Price

RAP is how much an item is worth in a trade.

2. Over Price

Next you need to Over Price, or OP for short. When you OP you pay more for the item you're trading.

Here's an example

Your offer: 2,000 RAP

What you want: 1,600 RAP

OPing can be a good thing, but NEVER offer items of higher RAP, to understand that, check out this link.

3. Over Offer, and Under Offer

Now we get to the Over and Under offering. This is a great thing to do when trading for rare items.

When you Under Offer, you trade one item for many other items.

When you Over Offer, you trade many items for one item.

Both are a great way to trade, and I suggest using both methods.

TIPS:

LMaD is full of trolls, so keep an eye out.

LMaD users don't tend to be nice to newer people in that forum, so just ignore them.

LMaD is the most popular forum, so your post will get covered up quickly, so make sure the title attracts people.

Hello everyone, Voiaman2 here and in this day of age on ROBLOX, there are many scams out there for your account to be stolen, and for your computer to be harmed. I am going to help you find them, and not fall for them.

Phishing Links

When someone posts a Phishing Link, it's a website to steal your account, usually it will have a spot where you place your username and password, once ou press enter it is sent to the owner of that site and they have all access to your account.

Many of these are like the following:

IP Thieves 

Now we get to the IP Thieves. They are able to hack into your computer from ROBLOX games. This is hardly ever used, but it is still possible. The way it works is they hack into the game and they are able to get into your computer, steal any saved passwords, ID, anything, so you have to be careful what you say on games.

Password Scammer

And now we get to the most common way to get into your account, Password Scamming.

They often sending you messages claiming to be admins having to test accounts, this is FAKE. Never ever tell anyone your password.

They can claim to be admins, getting you hats, even helping you with places.

Admins will never ask for your password, if someone ever does ask, report them.

Make a hard password

Never make your password easy to guess, like, Guess12345. That is easy to guess and can cause someone to hack into your account. If you're able, make it as long as possible, or if you have a good memory, make it with random numbers and letters.

"KL341FHSAR"

Like that.

You can try to memorize it, or just write it down and keep it hidden.

How to keep your account safe

If you are out somewhere when theres a computer, like a mall, library, or even at home, if friends use it, here's how to keep your account safe.

Always log out of your account when done

Use a different password on each website

Don't give away passwords anywhere, or leave clues about it.

And remember, giving away accounts, or even trading accounts, may result in a ban or deletion of that account.

If someone ever does hack you, email info@roblox.com, unless you have an Email verified to the account, then you just go to the email and get it back.

If you do not have an email on the account, and you don't have BC, you are unable to get the account back as ROBLOX would need proof it were you. They will ask for the BC's card email.

So remember, keep yourself safe, and everythings good, and if you ever see anyone asking for passwords, report them right away.

- ROBLOX Helpers - How to use Dynamic Lighting

Now we're at the end of Dynamic Lighting Day. It's been nice, and now we learn how to use Dynamic Lighting, and how to make it look good!

- Getting Dynamic Lighting started up -

To get started, first go into the place you wish to add Dynamic Lighting too. Open Explorer and Properties.

View > Explorer > Properties

Now, in Explorer you want to click on Lighting. And in Properties many things will appear, scroll down to Global Shadows and turn it on.



Set Outdoor Ambient to Black, and set Shadow Color to Black.

The regular Ambient is how dark the place is. I suggest a dark grey.



- Turning on Lights -

Now we get to the easy part.


Go to Toolbox and insert any Part.


View > Toolbox


Now, you will need Explorer and Properties again.


Click on the brick so it is selected, now go to Basic Objects


Insert > Basic Objects


Scroll down the list until you see PointLight or SpotLight.


I suggest using SpotLight, as it is brighter.

Then rotate the brick until you have the light facing the way you want it.

- How to make it look cool -

I suggest adding fog. A dense fog, black colored. It gives the game a bit more fun and mystery.

If you need to know how to add fog, no problem!

Make sure you have Explorer and Properties open.

Now, go to Lighting and find FogEnd, change the FogColor to Black and change the FogNumber to around 150-300.

If you want it really thick make it 100 or below.

Ok,working around a slower OS is quite hard and more errors pop up when trying to install the important optimizing tools...

GRAPHICS: Ok,this is the most important thing with a lower level OS...Graphics drivers MUST be up to date for Roblox,or else Roblox will lag on simple games...How to update these drivers? Well,you viewers must have NVIDIA graphics,so to update them,go to Nvidia.com...Anyways,then go "Drivers" and click "All Drivers"...You will have 2 options,scan for updates manually or automattically with Option 2 (Recommended and efficient)...If you do need an update simply follow the instructions it gives you...Then you're done with that...

WINDOWS UPDATE:

This one is a quick one,make sure you check "Windows Update" (Start>Control Panel>Windows Update) every 2-4 weeks...

JAVA AND ADOBE:

These might seem unimportant for Roblox,but it is indeed essential...Adobe and Java are the things that allow images/videos to be shown on computers...As it might not seem like it,everytime anything moves on a Roblox server its an image,these are called frames,a high frame rate is good,20 frame rate is standard,good for simple Roblox games,1-10 frame rates per second is really bad and you would simply lag on every game on Roblox...Even when you're the only one on a server,your character moves even without touching anything because Roblox character limbs are welded,thus having that problem,which is not visable without focusing on the character hardly...So anyways,this was more of a lesson than a tip...Anyways,what I'm trying to say is that ALWAYS make sure Adobe and Java are update to date...

Alright,used for gaming in particular,it could be used as a practical way to get Roblox better performance,for this,you must download it at Razerzone.com>Products>Software...When you download it,go to Tools>Tweaks,there just select everything and tweak,after that I recommend you restart your computer (Optional)...After that it is indeed optional to go to Tools>Drivers that scan that any graphics drivers you installed need an update...

Alright,this one I had a great experience with...It really worked wonders...You must download it from iObit.com and after installation you will be brought to a screen with options and a big circular button that says "Scan",that is to do what you have selected...Now,best for selection is "Internet Boost" and "Malware Removal"...It is not really recommended to do any others as if you are not good with understanding the way computers work and improve...After this,you should restart your computer,REALLY recommended to do this...

Inbox Error, how to fix it

For the past few days, there has been an error with your inbox, when you get message[s], it remains that they are unread for a few minutes.

I sent an E-Mail to ROBLOX and here is the reply.

The problem will soon be fixed.

But it still says I have one unread message..?

Before ROBLOX added the "Mark as Read" button, players could glitch a message so it has no title, meaning you could not open it, so you always had 1 message unread. This happened to me, and as I have many many pages of messages it is impossible to find this messages again, but you get used to it over time.

Now, to fix the error if you do NOT have a glitched message, just wait a few minutes [Up to 10 minutes] and it will be fixed.

What is a Faberge?

A Faberge is the rarest egg you can possibly get, this year having them be the rarest and hardest, we have three this year, Dreamweaver, Regal Dragon, and Royal.



Why are they so rare?

The reason is, Faberge eggs in real life are priceless eggs made in the House of Faberge. A Faberge is an egg decorated in jewels.

Reason they are rare is because they are simply hard to find, and get your hands on in real life, so ROBLOX decided to make it just as hard, but possible in-game. 

Faberge's have been is every egg hunt since 2012, and have always been very rare to find, but this year they are harder than ever.


How do I get my hands on a Faberge?


This is the tricky part, Faberge's can spawn ANYWHERE on the map, and have a 1-1000% chance of appearing in a server, per 1,000 people, you may find a Faberge in that server. Getting a Faberge is easy if there is one in the server, if you are rich or simply have BC, I suggest buying the Faberge Cloner and the Eggdar.

These gear will help you a lot in finding one.

The Eggdar tells you what eggs are in the server, so you can see for rare eggs.

The Faberge Cloner is much fun, if there is a Faberge in the server, simply click the image of it and you're done, if someone finds it, they get it as well as you!
